Technology Innovation Summit would like to thank Cook County for their support of TIS 2012. The summit is geared toward solving the problems of local governments and Cook County’s involvement helps us to better understand the issues that face governments.

Cook County is one of the most populace counties in the US and contains roughly 40% of the population of Illinois, including Chicago. The county is led by Toni Preckwinkle, the President of the Board and also a speaker at TIS 2012. Cook County continues to try new approaches to service delivery, planning and development that utilize technological innovations. Cook County’s Government Bureau of Technology was recently named one of the leading innovators in government technology by Information Week Magazine.

TIS 2012 looks forward to having representatives of Cook County at the summit where they can offer their insights, and gain knowledge from both our speakers and other attendees.
