2012 TI Summit Speaker: Arnold R. Crater

Arnold Crater was appointed Chief Information Officer in June 2012. He will be responsible for the daily operations of the agency’s information system.

Arnold has over 25 years of experience in the technology field. He is currently the Executive Director, IT for the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) in Aurora where he is responsible for IT services including engineering, help desk, infrastructure, business applications, telecommunications, multi-media production and information resources.

Prior to IMSA, he worked for Accenture, LLC as the Senior Manager where he was responsible for unified communication and network technology services. In addition, he has worked for Motorola as the Director of Worldwide Technical Support, and the Customer Group as Director & Chief Knowledge Officer.

Arnold has expertise in Smart Card technology and Customer Service operations.  Arnold has a MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management and MSME & BSME from University of Illinois, Chicago.
